The B-8M1 is intended for air use & is shorter range than Grads; but can still be effective.

The video shows how the APU is used air unit B-8M1 with 80-mm C-8 missiles from a makeshift ground installation, although usually B-8M1 is hung on combat helicopters or aircraft.
Naturally, such missiles do not shoot as far as Grads. However, they can still be effective.
