The horevica Telegram channel shared a video, according to which the Ukrainian military is already using YPR-765 armored personnel carriers at the front.
What is an armored personnel carrier
YPR-765 is a variant of the AIFV (Armored Infantry Fighting Vehicle), created in the 1970s by the American company Food Machinery and Chemical Corporation (FMC) based on the M113A1 armored personnel carrier chassis and the B1P7M5 prototype
In fact, the YPR-765 is an improved version of the American M113. Most Dutch YPRs are manufactured under license in the Netherlands by DAF. The crew of the armored vehicle consists of three people: driver, commander and gunner. The troop compartment is designed for seven soldiers and is located at the rear of the armored personnel carrier.
Recall that Ukrainian defenders, in addition to YPR-765 will receive another modification of the M113 - M113AS4.
