Cities: Skylines sales reached 12 million copies

Urban simulators are a niche genre, which, however, does not prevent its most hasty representatives from selling millions of copies. Studio Colossal Order and publishing house Paradox Interacrive reported that Cities: Skylines bought 12 million times. 

Recall how sales Skylines have changed since the release, which took place on March 10, 2015: 

• The first 24 hours - 250 thousand copies 
• The first week - 500 thousand 
• The first month - a million 
• The first year - 2 million 
• The second year - 3.5 million 
• March 2018 - 5 million 
• March 2019 - 6 million

For the past 7 years Cities: Skylines managed to visit PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and Stage.
