ASUS ROG Phone 6 could be the world's first smartphone with a processor snapdragon 8+ Gen1. Insider Digital Chat Station published the specifications of the gaming flagship.

What is known

A few weeks ago the company ASUS officially announced that ROG Phone 6 will get a chip snapdragon 8+ Gen1. The processor will be paired with 18 GB of RAM LPDDR5 in the top modification, the capacity of the built-in battery will be 6000 mAh.

ASUS ROG Phone 6 will be equipped with a 6.78” screen OLED format Full HD+. The display will receive support for a refresh rate of 165 Hz. Recall ROG Phone 5 is equipped with a 144Hz screen. Also, the smartphone is promised a fingerprint scanner built into the display, a 64 MP main camera and support for 65 W fast charging.

Price ASUS ROG Phone 6 has not yet been specified. The announcement of the gaming smartphone will take place on July 4, 2022. The presentation will take place in the USA and Germany.
