18 minutes from One Piece Odyssey

During the exhibition Anime Expo 2022 publishing house Bandai Namco and the studio ILCA showed a heavy gameplay excerpt from a JRPG One Piece Odyssey. The authors also shared some details about the game.

Action One Piece Odyssey takes place on the mysterious island of Wafford. The Straw Hat Pirates get caught in a terrible storm and end up on an island. Luffy and his team try to escape from a mysterious place. The creators mentioned two key characters:

• Lim is a mysterious girl who hates pirates.
• Adio Suerte is a researcher who lives on Waford. Being an outcast himself, he becomes a guide for the Straw Hat team.

To explore Waford, you have to use the unique skills of pirates. As for the battles, they somehow combine familiar and new elements.

One Piece Odyssey will come out on PC, PlayStation 4/5 and Xbox series in 2022.
