Iran intends to supply Russia with hundreds of combat drones for the war against Ukraine
The United States said that Iran is preparing to supply combat drones to Russia.
What is known
This is evidenced by the declassified information of the American intelligence. National Security Advisor Jay Sullivan said that the Iranian government is ready to provide Russia with several hundred drones, including combat drones, on an expedited basis.
In addition, Iran will train the Russian military to use these UAVs. The first training is scheduled for early July, i.e., it has already been completed or is taking place right now. Intelligence did not specify whether supplies of Iranian drones to Russia have already taken place.
The information was also confirmed by the White House. A spokesman for Joy Biden's office said that news of UAV deliveries to Russia came on the eve of the American president's trip to the Middle East, where, among other things, the Iranian nuclear program and the situation in the region will be discussed. Biden intends to visit Israel and Saudi Arabia.
