AFU destroyed another rare newest killer drone "Lancet-3" - it can reach a speed of 300 km/h
The Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed two Lancet-3 killer drones in the south of the country in ten days.
What is known
On July 16, its mission in Ukraine ended the first Lancet-3 bomber munition. It was shot down rather neatly in the Zaporozhye region. The second drone was eliminated on July 26 in the Nikolayev region while attempting to attack a radar station. In this case, only wreckage was left of the drone.
Note that in attack mode, the speed of the Lancet-3 is 300 km/h. This is almost three times the speed of horizontal flight (110 km/h). The bomber operates in a radius of up to 40 km from the launch point. Autonomy is not specified.
"Lancet-3" can carry a payload weighing no more than 3 kg. At the same time, the killer drone itself weighs 9 kg. Barraging ammunition was announced in 2019 as an improved version of the kamikaze drone ZALA "Cub-BLA".
