The Armed Forces of Ukraine Showed the Fire Performance of the New Ukrainian "Verba" Multiple Launch Rocket System

The Ukrainian Armed Forces actively use not only Western weapons, but also Ukrainian equipment to destroy the occupants. For example, the Verba MLRS.

What we know

Radio Svoboda published a video, which demonstrates the work of the Ukrainian Verba multiple launch rocket system in the Kharkiv region. The system uses the warhead from BM-21 "Grad", which is installed on the chassis of KrAZ-6322-010.

Ukraine is engaged in the creation of a modernized version of the Grad MLRS in the early XXI century. The presentation of the first prototype of the Verba took place at the end of 2015. The multiple launch rocket system was officially adopted for service in 2021.

The Verba MLRS has 40 rails and uses 122-mm projectiles. Combat vehicle crew consists of five men. The KrAZ-6322-010 is equipped with 400 horsepower engine. The vehicle is 6x6, can reach speeds up to 100 km/h and has a cruising range of 1300 km (at an average speed of 60 km/h).
