Ukrspecsystems prepared the first unmanned aircraft system PD2 for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
What we know
In late June 2022, the charitable foundation Come Back Alive announced the largest project in its history. The organization purchased 10 PD-2 Ukrainian-made unmanned aerial systems ₴300,000,000 ($8,500,000 at the exchange rate at the time).
The first complex will soon be handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It consists of two drones, ground station on the basis of the car and additional equipment. The drones PD-2 will be the eyes for missile systems HIMARS, M270 MLRS, MARS II and Tochka-U.
The drone can carry payloads weighing up to 19 kg and is capable of reconnaissance at depths of more than 200 km. The PD-2 is equipped with a 30x zoom camera and a 5x zoom thermal imager. The drone has a maximum flight altitude of 5 km and a range of - 1000 km (12 hours).
