Chinese people choose expensive iPhones - the share of iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max in pre-orders was 85%

Residents of China have a preference for the most expensive versions of the iPhone 14. This is reported by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (Ming-Chi Kuo).
Here's What We Know
The combined share of the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max was 85%. But the novelty iPhone 14 Plus is not very popular - less than 5%. Thus, the share of the regular iPhone 14 was about 10%.

Latest offline pre-order survey for iPhone 14 series in China
1. The total order allocation for two 14 Pros is about 85%.
2. 14 Plus has the lowest order allocation (less than 5%).
Recall that the iPhone 14 basic model in China costs $865. The cost of iPhone 14 Plus starts at $1000. The price of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max was $1155 and $1300 respectively.
