The Security Service of Ukraine published video of an FPV drone attack on a Russian tank.
Here's What We Know
Soldiers from the Alpha Special Operations Center used an FPV drone to strike a Russian tank. It is difficult to assess the extent of the damage from the video, but the Security Service page says that the tank was eliminated, while the video itself states that the fighting vehicle was destroyed.
The Defense Forces were also able to eliminate another tank, but with the help of a conventional drone. It dropped a shaped charge on the fighting vehicle.
FPV drones are popular with the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Such drones cost from $200, which is an order of magnitude cheaper than the popular DJI Mavic 3. The only problem is the availability of spare parts, because most need to order from China, and delivery can take several weeks.
