Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 successor: Qualcomm works on new Snapdragon 7 Series chip with tri-cluster core structure and 2.4 GHz

Qualcomm recently introduced the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and is now working on its successor.

Here's What We Know

The information was shared by German insider Roland Quandt. The chip is now undergoing testing.

The novelty will be able to boast of a three-cluster structure: one Prime core, three Gold and four Silver cores. The first cores will run at 2.4 GHz and the last at 1.8 GHz.

Unfortunately, the timing of the release and the name of the new processor is not yet available. We can only assume that the novelty will be released in early 2023, as Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 or Snapdragon 7 Gen 2.
