Google launched an open beta testing Play Games store with Android games for Windows 10 and Windows 11 PCs

Google announced earlier this year that it was testing Android games for Windows PCs. And now, nine months later, the company has started sending out an invitation to the test.

Here's What We Know

Users in Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea can try Android games on PC. In other regions the testing will be launched in the near future.

For now, there are 12 games available on the Google Play Games store, including Asphalt 9, Gardenscapes and Homescapes. In the future this list is promised to be expanded. All games have progress sync with mobile devices, as well as laptops powered by Chrome OS. As for system requirements, they include:

  • Windows 10 (v2004) or Windows 11
  • SSD availability
  • A gaming-grade graphics processor(list)
  • 8 logical processor cores
  • 8GB RAM
  • 20GB of available disk space
  • Windows admin account
  • Hardware virtualization
