Samsung increase at CES Smart Monitor M8 line-up for 27" and 32" models in four colors

Samsung Smart Monitor M8 (Model Number: M80C) is a sleek and slim design available in two sizes - 27” and 32” - both featuring 4K resolution. This monitor comes in four colors to fit any room: Daylight Blue, Spring Green, Sunset Pink or Warm White.

The height-adjustable stand with tilt support provides the best angle and the screen can pivot 90 degrees, making it easier to read long documents without scrolling. It also meets VESA mount compatibility standards to save space and keep the area clutter-free.

The Smart Monitor M8 is equipped with a SmartThings Hub, allowing users to control and manage hundreds of compatible connected devices, such as lights, cameras, doorbells, locks, thermostats and more. Samsung plans to expand device choices and usability by supporting Matter functionality and Home Connectivity Alliance standards this year.

Mouse control has been added to many of the Smart Monitor’s over-the-top apps, including SmartThings and Smart Hub, for a more convenient way to control the device without a remote.

This monitor also provides instant access to Prime Video, Netflix, YouTube and other over-the-top services through the Smart Hub. Additionally, users can access the all-in-one game streaming platform, Samsung Gaming Hub.

The My Contents feature gives users helpful information at a glance. When the monitor is on standby and detects a registered smartphone through low-power Bluetooth, it displays the user’s personalized photos, schedule and more. When the phone moves out of range, the monitor returns to standby mode.

The Smart Monitor M8 also includes a SlimFit camera with 2K resolution, compatible with video conferencing apps such as Google Meet.

This monitor is also protected by Samsung Knox Vault, which encrypts personal data and keeps stored files and information isolated from the device’s main operating system to ensure it is secure from attacks.
