Media: 11,000 Microsoft employees will receive layoff notice today

Difficult times for major IT-companies have affected Microsoft Corporation.

The U.S. company has already laid off 1,000 employees in the fall of 2022, but as it turns out, this is not the last major layoff.
As it became known to the news agency Sky News, today Microsoft may announce about the dismissal of 11,000 more employees, which would amount to 5% of the total staff.
The same information confirms the authoritative publication Bloomberg.
The reason for such large-scale reductions is not announced, but experts believe that the main purpose is to reduce the cost of the corporation amid the global economic crisis.
