In some Samsung Galaxy S23 series smartphones, the software takes up 60 GB. The size of the shell and operating system differs depending on the sales region.

Here's What We Know

The Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra run One UI 5.1 software on Android 13. The standard model and Plus version come with 128GB of internal storage in the base configuration. This means users only get half the storage.

The sheer size of the software is due to the large number of apps available. And some of the software products in One UI 5.1 are copies of the services available in Android 13. However, they are system applications, i.e. they can't be deleted.

If you realise that the 60GB of available memory in the base version isn't enough for you, it's worth looking at the more advanced versions. By the way, the Android 13 operating system in the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones only takes up 15GB. Not only that, the Windows 11 files on the PCs only take up 30GB.
