ASUS 2022 gaming smartphones get the Android 13 operating system

ASUS has started updating its current generation of gaming smartphones. The 2022 models get Android 13.

Here's What We Know

A fresh version of the software has become available for the ASUS ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro. Both smartphones were unveiled last summer and received Android 12 operating system straight out of the box.

The software number that brought Android 13 is 33.0610.2810.72. You can check for the update in the system settings. Note that if you go back from Android 13 to Android 12, all data will be deleted.

ASUS has already released the Android 13 operating system for five smartphones. In January, the update became available for the Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 Flip, while the Zenfone 9 was the first to receive the update in December 2022.
