Samsung introduced the processor Exynos 7872
The company Announcement Meizu M6s: six-core Exynos 7872 and camera with exclusive technologies ArcSoft . It turned out to be an unannounced Exynos 7872. Now, Korean company Samsung revealed all the features of the mobile processor and presented its full characteristics.
What is inside
The single-chip Samsung Exynos 7872 system is manufactured using a 14-nm process technology and received six cores: two Cortex-A73 with a frequency of 2 GHz and four Cortex-A53 with a frequency of 1.6 GHz. The single-core Mali-G71 acts as a graphics processor. By power, the processor equates to the Snapdragon 625 and 630 models.
The new chip supports Full HD-displays, RAM such as LPDDR3, flash memory format eMMC 5.1 and cameras with modules up to 21.7 megapixels. Available LTE Cat.7 modem (up to 300 Mbps), support for H.265, H.264, VP8 and VP9 video codecs, as well as fresh Bluetooth 5 format.
Where to wait
In the same statement, Samsung did not indicate that the Exynos 7872 was made exclusively for the company Meizu and its smartphones. It just so happened that the first device with a fresh chipset was M6s. It also means that very soon, it is worth waiting for the appearance of the Samsung smartphone with the Exynos 7872 on board. What name will receive and when the future model will be released is still unknown.
