Back in November 2017, Samsung opened beta testing Android 8.0 Oreo for Galaxy S8 and S8 +. During the whole testing period, several firmware assemblies were released, but now the company officially announced the end of the beta on January 26.
From today, Samsung will stop releasing additional updates and responding to user feedback. Consequently, the next version of the firmware will already be the official release of Android 8.0 Oreo for Galaxy S8 and S8 +. While there are no exact terms of distribution, but it will happen in the coming days.
