Apple last week unveiled the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 with a new Double Tap feature. As it turns out, it won't be in the watch at launch.

The innovation is planned to add to the devices with a software update. This was told by American blogger Marques Brownlee in his review of new products. We are talking about watchOS 10.1. Beta testing of the firmware will begin soon. The stable release of the software should take place at the end of the year.

Double Tap is one of the major innovations of Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2. The new feature allows you to use a double tap gesture with your index finger and thumb to perform certain actions on the watch.
