Xiaomi recently announced MIUI 9.2 for the smartphone Redmi Note 3 Pro , and the other day the upgrade received another smartphone. MIUI 9 was supposed to be released on Redmi 3S in December, but due to a huge number of errors, the update was postponed, and then decided to cancel altogether and immediately update the smartphone to version 9.2.
Update received the assembly number MIUI 22.214.171.124.MALMIEK and weighs 376 MB. Unfortunately, the firmware version is still based on Android Marshmallow and has an obsolete security patch for April 2017.
The smartphone received a redesigned interface, updated applications: Gallery, Calendar, Mi Video, Mi Explorer and Mi Drop. But, unlike Redmi Note 3 Pro, Redmi 3S did not add "Notification Shade", "Split Screen" and "Quick Switch" functions.
The update is already available for all smartphone owners, but for now as "Stable Nightly". The version of "Stable Build" should appear a little later.
Recall that Xiaomi Redmi 3S came out in 2016. The smartphone received a 5-inch screen with HD resolution and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. The market sold two versions of the device: 2/16 GB and 3/32 GB. The device was equipped with a 13 Mp camera.
