Project Treble ported to Redmi Note 4

One of the biggest problems Android OS - long updates. But Google last year at a conference Google I / O 2017, along with the new version of Android Oreo, presented a solution to this problem - Project Treble. Thanks to him, manufacturers do not need to release drivers for the new OS every time, but simply update the system itself. But now, unfortunately, some companies do not want to add this feature to their smartphones.

One expert from the resource XDA-Developers, under the nickname abhishek987 successfully ported Project Treble for the device Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. Thanks to this, in the future developers will be much easier to create third-party firmware for Redmi Note 4. The smartphone already has a lot of interesting ROMs, based Android 8.0 / 8.1 Oreo. And after the release of Android P it will not be very difficult to create a firmware on the new operating system.
