Ubisoft covered the nakedness of the statues in the new Assassin's Creed Origins
Recently in the action of Assassin's Creed Origins appeared the regime of interactive tours of Ancient Egypt. Launching a virtual tour, the players were surprised to find that the intimate places of the statues are covered with seashells.
Why did they do this?
Ubisoft wanted to make tours available to the widest possible audience, and since the ideas about decency in different countries can be very different, the developers decided to cover up the nakedness of the sculptures. This also allowed to reduce the age rating ("from 12 years" instead of 18+), so that teachers could use materials in schools in class.
On the statues, historical inaccuracies in the new regime do not end. A tour of Alexandria shows a lesson of boys and girls with the rhetorician, but in Ancient Egypt, the idea of equality of the sexes has not yet reached. At that time, only boys received real education. In order not to offend anyone, Ubisoft embellished some points, although the narrator honestly warns users about it:

How to try?
Educational mode with 75 tours is available as a free supplement to Assassin's Creed Origins, it can also be purchased separately. On Steam and the official store of the Discovery Tour by Assassin's Creed: Ancient Egypt is twice cheaper than the standard edition of the game (465 hryvnia / 999 rubles).
