Wacom announced a 24-inch Cintiq Pro pen display

Wacom, a manufacturer of equipment for artists and designers, presented a 24-inch interactive display Cintiq Pro. Before that they had already released models with a diagonal of 13 and 16 inches.

Characteristics

The new Cintiq Pro with a 24-inch display with a color depth of 98% Adobe RGB supports 4K and a billion color shades. The contrast of the novelty is 1000: 1, and the brightness - 350 cd / m 2 . Pen Wacom Pro Pen 2 recognizes 8192 levels of pressing force, as well as the previous 16-inch version. The device connects to the computer using the USB Type-C.

The manufacturer says: "We understand that professional artists and designers, beginning to work with new technologies, like the augmented and virtual reality and 3D, face an ever wider set of requirements for computers and displays where there simply can not be a universal approach. Each of us has our own approach to work, so we are pleased to offer our customers digital paintings of larger sizes, flexible enough for the user to have more space for pen movements. "

Wacom will also release plug-ins that allow you to make a full-fledged computer from the device. Such a module will be equipped with an Intel Xeon processor E3-1505M V6 (up to 4 GHz) or Intel Core i5-7300HQ (up to 3.5 GHz), NVIDIA Quadro P3200 graphics accelerator with 6 GB DDR5 memory, 16/32 GB RAM, solid state storage capacity up to 512 GB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Ethernet adapters.

The novelty will be available in March 2018 in the US, Japan and European countries at a price from 1999 to 2499 dollars. In May, a version with a digital pen and touch screen will be available for sale, and later - a model with a 32-inch display.
