YouTube has received a dark theme, but so far only on iOS devices
Since the web version of YouTube received a dark topic, it was a matter of time when such an opportunity would be added to the mobile application. And now, at last, it happened.
What is known
According to Google, dark mode was one of the most popular functions among users. The company showed it for the web version back in May 2017, along with the announcement of a new design. Later, this feature was noticed in the application code. And now this mode appeared on all iOS-devices. To turn on a dark theme, you need to go to the YouTube settings and tick the box.

When to expect
The application has already been updated for users of iOS devices. For Android, this feature will appear a little later.
