The first Chromebook with 4K screen is already in development

After the announcement of PixelBook, Google raised the bar for the following models. These devices are becoming more powerful and premium. Previously, there was information that the first Chromebook with a 4K screen could be introduced soon. But now, it seems, it was confirmed.

What is known

The user Reddit with the nickname -nbsp- shared information about the future of the Chromebook. It was found in the source file on the Chromium website. It has a list of code names, for example "eve", which belongs to PixelBook or "kevin" - Samsung Chromebook Plus 2-in-1. But apart from these familiar chrome-bunks there is an unknown, code-named "atlas". The description says that the device has a screen with a resolution of 4K (3840 × 2160p) and there is no slot for SD-cards.
