Android P showed the future of smartphones with two cutouts. Does not look very

Manufacturers are not going to stop on smartphones with "bangs" and are already thinking over the second notch at the bottom of the screen. Having assumed the inevitable, in the new build of Android P, developers added emulation of "beards". It looks even worse than we imagined.

What do we have here?

Initially, in the Android P Developer Preview, you could select a cutout in the center with different thicknesses. In the second version left only a wide "monobrov", but there were two new options: a cutout in the right corner, when the icons in the top panel just shifted to the left, and the "bangs with a beard." In the latter case, the standard buttons of the system are displayed above the cutout, and the area on either side of it is not involved. Then what is the point, if the video is still more convenient to watch without black protrusions, and the "basement" in applications will simply shift upwards?

Either we have not figured out, or the producers have another crisis of ideas. It seems that only Apple can stop the fever if the company completely abandons the cut-out in the iPhone. Alas, in the near future on this count is not worth it .

One of the first smartphone with cutouts from above and below planned to release ZTE, but because of the US sanctions, the output of the gadget, and the fate of the manufacturer under a big question.
