ASUS VivoWatch 6 has received Bluetooth SIG certification

A new smart watch from Asus has been spotted in the Bluetooth SIG database under the name "VivoWatch 6" and model number HC-D06, which means that the release of the watch should take place soon.

No word yet on the device's specifications, but it's speculated that the new VivoWatch 6 could feature an AMOLED panel, potentially offering more dial customisation options compared to its predecessor's 1.3-inch LCD screen.

The previous generation VivoWatch 5, released in 2022, had a 1.3-inch LCD screen, ECG and FPG sensors, as well as a pulse oximeter and a thermometer to measure skin temperature. ASUS claims the VivoWatch 5 has a battery life of up to 14 days and 5 atm water resistance, indicating it can be used in water up to 50 metres deep.
