Xiaomi has confirmed that the new Civi 4 Pro smartphone will feature a Leica Optical Summilux lens and a 50 MP OmniVision Light Hunter 800 sensor.

Here's What We Know

The lens has a large aperture of f/1.63 and the Light Hunter 800 sensor has a 1/1.55" format, a pixel size of 2.0µm and a dynamic range of 13.2EV. This sensor was first used in the Redmi K70 Pro released late last year.

Leica Summilux lenses specialise in low-light photography. They use a special type of glass with unique reflection properties. The phone is expected to offer professional camera features designed to maximise the capabilities of the hardware right out of the box.

It has also been revealed that the phone will be available in four different colour variants and will be powered by the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. This chip could make the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro a "flagship killer". The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro is also expected to feature a 6.55-inch OLED display with 1080p (2400x1080) resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate.
