Some games in Xbox Cloud Gaming will have mouse and keyboard support
As you know, Microsoft's Xbox Cloud Gaming streaming service currently only supports games with a controller, but this may change soon: the platform will add support for mouse and keyboard.
Here's What We Know
The feature is currently not available to all Xbox Cloud Gaming players, but only to those who participate in the Xbox Insider programme in the Alpha ring. Once the feature passes the testing stages, it will be rolled out to all players.
However, it is worth noting that not all projects in the X Cloud catalogue will support mouse and keyboard gaming, only those from a special list compiled by Microsoft:
- Fortnite - Browsers only;
- ARK Survival Evolved;
- Sea of Thieves;
- Grounded
- Halo Infinite
- Atomic Heart;
- Sniper Elite 5;
- Deep Rock Galactic;
- High on Life;
- Zombie Army 4 Dead War;
- Gears Tactics;
- Pentiment;
- Doom 64;
- Age of Empires 2.
You should also be aware that this control method will be available only through Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome browsers, or through the official Xbox app for Windows.
