Snapdragon X Elite shows a 49% performance improvement
Last month, Lenovo's mysterious laptop based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor already passed a performance test in Geekbench. Then the performance figures obtained during the test did not quite match Qualcomm's claims about the new ARM chip. In the second test of the processor things are already better.
Here's What We Know
In a new benchmark test conducted by Geekbench 6, Qualcomm's Snapdragon X Elite processor showed an impressive 49% performance improvement. This result was achieved in a new Lenovo laptop with model number 4810UV0100 equipped with this processor. It showed a single-core score of 2427 and a multi-core score of 14254 when running in "balanced" power mode.
This is a significant increase over the previous results of 1628 and 11392 respectively. This could be due to Geekbench 6 optimisations that work more efficiently with this chipset or the improved cooling system in Lenovo's test laptop. The improved performance could also be due to the fact that as the Snapdragon X Elite gets closer to its release, the software tailored for the chipset may have been better optimised.
However, it's worth noting that the short duration of the Geekbench test may not fully assess the device's long-term performance abilities.
