The timbre of the voice is no longer the same: an insider explains the change of the lead actor in the remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

Yesterday, insider Tom Henderson said that gamers should forget everything they have heard and seen about the remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, because the game is being created from scratch and on other concepts.

According to his information, Ubisoft Montreal completely abandoned the developments of Indian colleagues and radically revised the original concept of the remake.

Canadian developers rewrote the story, re-recorded the acting and even refused the services of the famous actor Yuri Lowenthal, who, as in the original game, was supposed to voice the main character.

Shortly after its publication, Henderson published a number of clarifications.

Here's What We Know

Gamers were surprised that Ubisoft Montreal refused to cooperate with Lowenthal, and Henderson explained this decision by the fact that according to the new idea of the Persian heir and his girlfriend Farah in the remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time will be much younger than in the original version. The insider noted that the characters in the game will be about 19 years old, so the luxurious voice of Lowenthal does not fit into this role.

By the way, Henderson said that the appearance of the Prince will be changed: he will be more muscular, athletic and without the famous short beard. As for the plot, the developers will pay more attention to the relationship between Prince and Farah.

The insider said that the game is currently in the early stages of development, so this information could change as well.
