"I made Spicy Shai Khulud stuffed with cinnamon and cloves!": shocking photos of a culinary experiment that scares and attracts at the same time

A Facebook user named Jaimee Jaimee Bo-baimee posted a photo of her culinary experiment in the Dune Shitposting™ group (37.7 thousand members). She made the sandworm Shai-Hulud from the film Dune. She used a spicy dough (with a hint of the unique spice from the film) and a filling of cloves and cinnamon. The audience, still under the impression of Dune: Part II, welcomed the dish despite its shocking appearance.

The author's cat is visible through the open mouth of the worm. "Shai Khulud should be afraid of the Flerks," one commenter noted (Flerks are fictional creatures from Marvel comics that have tentacular jaws and the ability to store entire universes in pocket dimensions in their stomachs, and look like ordinary cats - editorial note gg) . ". Every year at Christmas, we make sandworm bread with pistachios, five spices, brown sugar and almonds," another member of the group shares his experience.

On the back of the sandworm there are non-canonical figures that are supposed to symbolise the Fremen, who used the monster to move quickly across the desert.

About Dune

The main intrigue of the novel focuses on the young Paul Atreides, who becomes the leader of the desert Fremen people, known as Muad'Dib. He uses his unique abilities to fight against imperial tyranny and for the fate of Arrakis.
