Publisher Paradox Interactive has announced the next add-on for the historical grand-strategy Europa Universalis 4.

Here's What We Know

The expansion is called Winds of Change and will be released on the 8th of May.

In it the developers will add a huge amount of new content for many nations and states.

So, in the game will appear:

  • Special mechanics in the Incas, Aztecs and Maya, which will be tied to wars and sacrifices. There will be the possibility of an alternative course of history, in which the indigenous peoples of the Americas will invade Europe;
  • Important historical events for The Netherlands and the Republic of Venice;
  • exciting events for the Timurids, who will be able to choose between peace and prosperity or bloody wars of conquest;
  • interesting opportunities for the Hungarian Empire (Hungary) and Bohemia;
  • new reforms await the Mughals;
  • the developers have prepared new content for Germany, Italy, the Trebizond Empire (Trebizond) and the Principality of Theodoro, nomadic peoples of the Hordes, Hasankeyf (Hisn Kayfa) and Oman.

Simultaneously with Winds of Change expansion for Europa Universalis 4 the free update 1.37 "Inca" will be released.
