Alex Lebovici of Hammerstone Studios gave an update on the Death Stranding film adaptation: Jordan Peele won't be directing, but the adaptation will be unique and different from all others

Hammerstone Studios, already known for their "Barbarian" and "Boy Kills World" projects, is collaborating with A24 to make a film based on Hideo Kojima's popular game "Death Stranding". Producer Alex Lebovici has given an update on what the film adaptation will be like.

Here's What We Know

It was previously rumoured that Jordan Peele would be directing the project, but Lebovici has denied this information, saying that it's just a rumour. Instead, Peele will focus on collaborating with Kojima to create the OD horror game.

Also, Lebovici stated that since Hammerstone Studios and A24 are working on the Kojima-led adaptation of Death Stranding, it promises to make the film unique among other video game adaptations.

"I think people are going to be extremely excited about that one too. Hideo is brilliant, and we're so happy to have A24 on. It's going to be unlike any other video game adaptation ever made. So that's a fun one." - said Lebovici, adding that A24's involvement will bring creativity and attention to detail to the project.

The A24 team has long been fans of Death Stranding and its creator. They actively sought to join the project because of their deep understanding of the game's world and its potential as a major film project.
