Evil Empire Studios has published the second instalment of their community address, which is dedicated to the development of The Rogue Prince of Persia.

Here's What We Know

In the video, the studio's community manager Matt Houghton shared gameplay footage and details of The Rogue Prince of Persia.

In particular, he touched on the combat system and movement features in the game. The Prince has amazing acrobatic abilities, cleverly jumps over various obstacles and overcomes tricky traps.

In battle, players will be able to use a variety of weapons, including swords, daggers, spears and other deadly items. When those aren't enough, the Prince can use his bow, throwing knives, or chakram to remotely dispatch enemies.

Matt Houghton explained that in order to win fights, you must not only successfully dodge enemies' blows, but also attack them in time, as each strike of the Prince disrupts the enemies' actions and briefly throws them off-balance, allowing them to attack a few more times or leave the battlefield.

The Rogue Prince of Persia will also feature medallions, which are similar to the Dead Cells talismans: they are placed in special slots and give the hero various bonuses, but a limited number of medallions can be worn at the same time.

When We Can Expect It

The Rogue Prince of Persia will be released on the 14th of May in Steam Early Access. The developers promise to actively develop the game taking into account the wishes and comments of gamers.
