We loved Eve too much: Stellar Blade has the highest player score of any PlayStation 5 game on Metacritic

We wrote that players gave Stellar Blade 9 out of 10 points on Metacritic. Now the situation has changed a bit and the score has become even higher.

Here's What We Know

At some point, the game had a score of 9.3 out of 10, but at the time of writing, it has dropped to 9.2. Nevertheless, Stellar Blade has achieved two interesting achievements.

Stellar Blade now has the highest Metacritic score (according to players) of any PS5 game today. It also has the highest user rating for 2024 (all platforms).

It's unlikely that any of the developers expected this result, but we're delighted that players are enjoying the new PlayStation 5 exclusive so much.
