Insider: iPhone 17 Pro will receive 12 GB of RAM

The iPhone 17 Pro, which could be launched in 2025, will receive a significant upgrade in the form of 12GB of RAM and a smaller Dynamic Island notch.

Here's What We Know

Insider information from Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu indicates that Apple is planning to increase the amount of RAM for the professional iPhone model to 12GB. This is a significant improvement over the previous versions, which have 8 GB.

In addition, Pu is considering reducing the size of the Dynamic Island, which will make the notch on the front panel more compact. According to the analyst, this may be possible due to the use of a new technology that will allow placing components under the display, including a selfie camera.

Although Apple has not yet provided official information, these rumours are not unexpected given the brand's development trends.

Apple will introduce the iPhone 17 range in September 2025.
