New Android 14 update for Galaxy Xcover 5 may have camera fixes

Samsung is responding to camera issues with its Galaxy Xcover 5 rugged smartphone.

Here's What We Know

After the release of the One UI 6.0 update based on Android 14, users quickly began reporting unpleasant camera errors that prevented normal use of the device.

The main problem is the camera's autofocus, which turned out to be inoperable after the update.

Samsung quickly stopped the rollout of the update after receiving error messages. According to Galaxy Club, Samsung is now actively developing a new Android 14 test firmware to fix these issues.

Although there is no official confirmation from Samsung yet, the new firmware is expected to contain the necessary camera fixes.
