Leopard 1A5 tanks, artillery shells, RQ-35 Heidrun and Vector UAVs: Germany hands Ukraine new arms package

The German government has updated the list of transferred military aid to the AFU.

Here's What We Know

The new package included:

• 10 Leopard 1A5 tanks
• 34 RQ-35 Heidrun UAVs
• 20 Vector UAVs
• 111 CR 308 rifles
• 80 HLR 338 high-precision rifles
• 20 MG3 machine guns to be mounted on Leopard tanks
• 540 MK 556 assault rifles
• 8,500 155 mm ammunition
• 1.75 million rounds of ammunition for firearms
• 1 Bergepanzer 2 ARV armoured recovery vehicle.
• 1 Biber bridge-laying tank.
• 16 Mercedes-Benz Zetros tankers.
• 2 mine ploughs
• 1 Pionierpanzer Dachs armoured engineer vehicle
• 4 mine clearance tanks 1 MC

In addition, the German defence ministry also said it was preparing to hand over 3 HIMRAS multiple rocket launchers to Ukraine, which it had previously bought from the US.
