Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra will receive One UI 6.5 Watch with new version of Wear OS

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra, which were unveiled last month, are the world's first smartwatches to run Wear OS 5.

Google is currently working on Wear OS 5.1, which is based on Android 15. This means that these watches, as well as previous Galaxy Watch models, may receive the One UI 6.5 Watch update in the near future.

The growth in sales of Wear OS smartwatches has forced Google to implement annual releases of new versions. Although the development of Wear OS 5.5 is at an early stage, there is a possibility that Google will release it as Wear OS 6 if it adds new system features.
