Some time ago, insiders reported that Microsoft's new multiplatform strategy may extend to the popular racing game Forza Horizon 5. It was claimed that its version for PlayStation 5 was ready back in October, but for unknown reasons the company postponed its release to 2025.

Perhaps, the users of Japanese consoles will not only get the latest game of the series, but will be able to play Forza Horizon 6.

Here's What We Know

On his own podcast, well-known insider NateTheHate stated that Microsoft and Playground Games have no plans to make the yet-to-be-announced Forza Horizon 6 a console exclusive for Xbox, as they have done with all parts of the series.

Instead, the race will be available on Sony's console immediately upon release. This message correlates with the opinion of analyst Serkan Toto from the agency Kantan Games, who believes that Microsoft has abandoned the concept of exclusives forever and will release its games on as many platforms as possible.

In the meantime, we should wait for the announcement of Forza Horizon 6.
