OpenAI has announced a collaboration with Retro Biosciences, a longevity research startup, to extend human life by 10 years.

Here's What We Know

This partnership has developed a new artificial intelligence model, GPT-4b micro, which is capable of reconstructing proteins known as Yamanaka factors. These proteins can turn human skin cells into young stem cells. Retro Biosciences believes that these proteins are an important step towards creating human organs and providing replacement cells.

The GPT-4b micro model differs from Google's AlphaFold, which predicts the shape of proteins. It is the first OpenAI model specifically designed for biological research. OpenAI and Retro Biosciences plan to publish the results of their research to demonstrate the potential of this technology in biotechnology and healthcare.
