Samsung's new mid-budget smartphone, the Galaxy A36, which will be the successor to last year's Galaxy A35, is expected to be released in the coming months. The device has been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification page, and the smartphone has also been spotted on one of Samsung's official websites.

Here's What We Know

The smartphone with the model number SM-A366E/DS has reportedly appeared in the Indian BIS certification, where the DS designation stands for dual-SIM support. In addition to this, Samsung Kazakhstan's website has posted a support page for the Galaxy A36 with the same model number, signalling the imminent launch of the smartphone.

According to the latest renders, the Galaxy A36 will launch with an updated design that includes a new capsule-shaped main camera module and thinner bezels around the display. The Galaxy A36 will also reportedly be powered by either a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, and will also launch with a new One UI 7 interface on top of Android 15.

The upcoming Galaxy A36 is rumoured to feature a 50-megapixel main camera and an upgraded 12-megapixel front camera. It is also confirmed to support 45W charging for a 5,000mAh battery.
