Samsung shows teaser of ultra-thin Galaxy S25 Edge at Unpacked 2025

During today's Unpacked 2025 presentation, Samsung officially hinted at the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone for the first time.

The novelty features an ultra-thin body and is expected to hit the market this year.
At the event, Samsung presented the Galaxy S25 series and described in detail the new Galaxy AI features and integration with the Gemini model. The company also hinted at its future devices: XR headset based on Android, codenamed Project Moohan, as well as a tri-fold smartphone and smart glasses.
The final highlight of the event was the Galaxy S25 Edge teaser. In a short video, Samsung demonstrated the slim profile of the device and its components, with voiceover by actor Paul Bettany, known for his role as JARVIS/Vision in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The smartphone is expected to make its debut in April or May this year. According to preliminary information, it will be only 6.4 mm thick, almost 2 mm less than the Galaxy S25 Ultra and 1 mm less than the Galaxy S25+. At the same time, the device will have a similar screen size and will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.
Samsung has not yet disclosed details on the specifications and exact release date of the Galaxy S25 Edge.
Samsung Galaxy S25 smartphones will receive updates until 2032. The support, which includes 7 generations of OS and security updates, is part of a new standard that has emerged among leading smartphone manufacturers such as Google, which also offers similar support for its devices, including the Pixel 9.
