Samsung has introduced the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The smartphone has an updated design with rounded corners, which makes it more comfortable to use, and is thinner and lighter than the previous model.

Here's What We Know

Thanks to its new design, Galaxy S25 Ultra is thinner (8.2 mm vs. 8.6 mm) and lighter (218 g vs. 233 g) than the previous Galaxy S24 Ultra. The titanium body and the new Corning Gorilla Armour 2 protective glass make the device more durable and reduce glare.

The display has remained unchanged - it's a 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with a refresh rate of 1-120 Hz and Vision Booster and Adaptive colour tone technology.

Inside, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy chip, 12GB of RAM and a new pair of evaporator chambers for cooling. Samsung promises a 40% faster NPU, 37% faster CPU, and 30% faster GPU compared to its predecessors.

With the new NPU, the smartphone supports a host of artificial intelligence features, including Gemini, which can be called up using the power button. Circle to Search allows you to quickly perform actions with phone numbers, email addresses and URLs.

In addition, the Galaxy S25 Ultra has a new 50 MP camera with f/1.9 aperture, as well as a 200 MP main camera, 50 MP 5x telephoto lens and 10 MP 3x zoom. The front panel features a 12MP selfie camera.

The new camera supports video recording in 10-bit HDR and Galaxy Log, which allows for more accurate colour reproduction. Virtual Aperture mode is available for shooting professionals to control the depth of field.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra runs on Android 15 with One UI 7, which offers additional AI features and seven years of security updates. The price varies from €1,449 to €1,569, depending on the configuration. If pre-ordered, users will receive double the storage for free and 6 months of access to Gemini Advanced.
