The author of Nosferatu plans to make a horror film about werewolves: premiere at the end of 2026

Director Robert Eggers, known for his unique style, is preparing a new film about werewolves after the successful Nosferatu. Werwulf will be set in 13th-century England and promises to immerse you in the atmosphere of the brutal era.

Eggers will co-write the script with Icelandic author Jón, with whom he previously worked on Northman. The film will be released on 25 December 2026 with the support of Focus Features.
