Iron Galaxy, the studio known for its work on Killer Instinct and Rumbleverse, has announced the dismissal of 66 employees. According to the company, this is a necessary step to ensure its long-term survival.
Here's What We Know
In its official statement, Iron Galaxy noted that the gaming industry has undergone significant changes in recent years, which has led to numerous layoffs and company closures. Despite the efforts to retain the team, the studio was forced to make redundancies.
Iron Galaxy was founded in 2008 and is known as a developer of its own projects such as Divekick and Extinction, as well as a partner in the development and support of games such as Skyrim, Overwatch, Uncharted, and Diablo 3.
