Infinite Laptop concept unveiled: its screen is enlarged by horizontal expansion
Taiwanese company Compal, which is an ODM-manufacturer (does not produce products under its own brand, but fulfils orders of other companies), presented a concept of Infinite Laptop with a sliding screen.

Recently, many companies have begun to realise the concept of enlarging displays. For example, Lenovo recently introduced the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 laptop with a screen that slides upwards and the ThinkBook Flip model with a flexible display.
Compal has gone the other way and the Infinite Laptop offers a 14″ screen that extends to 18″. Moreover, it expands laterally on both sides.
The concept looks interesting, promising and even won the IF Design Award, but there is no information yet whether such a laptop will go into mass production.
