It's official: The Legend of Zelda will premiere in March 2027
Not 24 hours after the launch of Nintendo Today!, a free mobile information app, its users received some loud and interesting news.
Here's What We Know
Nintendo, Arad Productions and Sony Pictures have revealed the premiere date of the film based on the famous game franchise The Legend of Zelda, which is one of the most important brands of the Japanese gaming giant.
So, the world premiere of the Zelda film adaptation will take place on 26 March 2027.

Recall, this project was first reported in November 2023.
The film will be directed by Wes Ball, the director of The Maze Runner trilogy, and the producer of the film adaptation is The Legend of Zelda series creator Shigeru Miyamoto. No word yet on the film's plot or cast.
It is not yet known whether the film will be an adaptation of one of the games or will tell a standalone story in The Legend of Zelda universe.
